Developed for international students, the International
Foundation Year is an intensive three-term programme
of academic subjects, study skills and English language
training designed specifically to provide you with the opportunity to progress to degree study at the University.

When you join the International Study Centre, you will be required to select up to four undergraduate degree choices from the programmes and will receive a conditional offer of a place on one of your choices. We will support you in making appropriate degree choices and in submitting your application to the university, including advice on the completion of your personal statement. An interview or aptitude test may be required as part of the application process for some courses.
Progression to your degree is subject to completing the foundation programme and achieving the progression grades stated in your conditional offer letter.
