Lancaster ranks 8th in the country in 2019 league table

Lancaster University continues to maintain its triple top ten status, rising to eighth place in The Complete University Guide 2019.

The league table scores universities in the UK across ten areas including:

  • Student Satisfaction
  • Research Quality
  • Research Intensity
  • Entry Standards
  • Student: Staff Ratio
  • Spending on Academic Services
  • Spending on Student Facilities
  • Good Honours Degrees
  • Graduate Prospects
  • Completion

Through these measures, Lancaster ranked 8th out of 131 universities.

The University also ranks highly for individual subjects. Out of the 31 subjects offered at Lancaster University, 18 feature in the top ten of the subject league tables.

Lancaster University also appears in the top ten of other major national league tables, including The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide and The Guardian University Guide. The University also ranks highly in international league tables, such as the QS World Rankings.
